so, kids, when you learn about electro-magnets, do not attach the two ends of the wire to a plug and plug it into the wall socket. That is not a good way to learn the difference between ac and dc.

It's fine if your gauge and turns produce a sufficient impedance. ;)

May want to check the diodes in the alternator. Beef drippings tend to short things out. It's due to the salt. D:

Not for a hand wallplug session. It will trip a breaker or blow a fuse for one thing. Nails go pretty big - the ones they use to fasten gutters up (although a lot of those are aluminum - no good). Some landscapers use iron ones hot dipped in zinc for corrosion resistance. Those would work better being large nails. :D

This was grade 6 science... you get a piece of wire, a nail and a 1.5v AA...

Well I'm working on a web controlled relay based AC switch. While on the phone I accidentally dropped the positive lead carrying 9v on my breadboard which hit a pin on my arduino Nano and killed it :\

All videos up for the day. Cool.
Well, almost.
Waiting on last one to go up, but all title, descript, tag stuffs did.

I guess it's time to work on stupid computer shit that's irrelevant to my interests.

And a doorbell buzzer and make a vibrator?

One can wrap several turns of 24g wire around the shaft of an otherwise un-magnetized screw driver, connect to a D cell and have a powerful screw retriever as well. ;)

I don't know what kind of vibrator you use that has a nail D:

Does not matter, in the end someone is getting nailed. :D

These were for rudimentary Oudin coils to keep little boys' fingers out of the cabinet that had the guard's issues of Hustler magazine.

So I was washing my hands in the downstairs bathroom and my mom comes in, leaves the door open and pees. I cannot live here next year, no matter what happens!

wtf.... lol

The customer with the iPod was kinda cute. Not so much my type.

If I could, I'd offer her my negotiable rates & deduct some or all labor. :hmm:
