Interior was good. Definitely plainer and more basic than the 37, but fit and fitment were good, the pieces all work well together (it's only a year old with 7600 miles, which is a huge help). Exterior looks the same as a 37, so no difference there. Under the hood looks the same too.
Get into the throttle, and there's a lag as it double downshifts (maybe triple). The 7AT makes for comfortable and efficient cruising, but it's a bitch for performance, because it means it has to shift a lot to boost power. IIRC, might even be two overdrives. On the other hand, it means it shifts so much smoother than the 5AT.
It's faster than a four cylinder, even Mazda's high strung little powerplants. Not quite on par with Subaru's turbocharged fours, but if you can mention it against them, that's already a good mark for it.
