Watch out for MS' BI stack. It is going to gain lots and lots of business in the coming years. We're implementing it here now and it is pretty confusing for me since I've not had training on it, but hopefully the class I'm attending in April will solve that problem. :D

No. I already have too much computer crap. Slowly listing it all on FSFT. Thanks though.

I was going to keep it to hook to an Amiga, but it takes up too much space. They seem to be hit or miss on eBay. I think I'll see how much it will cost to ship and then see about putting it up on eBay.

It is setting on my "new" A3000 right now and I accidentally scratched my A3000's case last night while moving the scanner. :|

Don't have any exposure to SAP BI. Taking that class this summer.
Interesting field or boring?

Just post it at what price you want to sell it out. You get something like 100 free auctions a year.
That's what I'm planning on doing with that Cisco switch.

BI is a huge field. I don't know all the terminology; the class I'll be taking is related to Sharepoint and SQL integration for BI.

I had some limited exposure to SAP's BI. My biggest issue with SAP is their HORRIBLE support site. I even told them that there was no excuse for a big company like them to have such a horrible, horrible site.

That, and they were way late with 64-bit Sharepoint integration and that basically caused us to drop them.

I'll be happy making $5 off of it.

It looks like they don't often sell, but the ones that have sold recently were for $30 and $40 with free shipping. I imagine it will cost $20 to ship it.

Ah. Yeah I've heard mixed reviews on their support pages. Have you checked out SAP HANA? That stuff is really cool.

Sat through a presentation from some folks from SAP about it. They were talking about their experience implementing it with Ferrero.

No, we were BusinessObjects users and somehow, I got roped into being the "single point of contact" for SAP. I had to deal with their support pages in order to get licenses, download software, and research issues and it was easily the worst support page I've ever seen. I was corresponding with one of their guys and I think my exact words were "Your support page is absolutely terrible and easily the worst I've seen. Please refer to Microsoft's site for a proper support infrastructure."

Compaq always had an awesome support site too, but HP has ruined it to some extent. And I don't say that because I am a former Compaq employee.

MS' BI stack is really confusing for me because it really isn't covered in the standard Sharepoint classes I've taken and then I get it thrown at me to install and support. I really think they've done a poor job of implementing it or explaining it, but to be honest, I am probably a little biased because I don't have experience in the area and don't have the knowledge (yet) to fully understand their products in that arena.

Last call of the day in a few. Then I get to work on PowerPivot and SQL issues all afternoon, along with some neffing. :D
