how power efficient are those old machines compared to newer machines?

Well, I misspoke. They are "live" power connections but the machines may not actually be on. Still, 42 is a HUGE number. I estimate that my man cave has more active power connections than the rest of the rooms in my house combined. It is out of control!

The only machines are powered down most of the time, but I don't know how much (if any) power they consume when turned off. I need to get a Kill-A-Watt and measure. Right now, I think I am going to start eliminating some hardware such as some USB hard drives, extra USB hubs, etc. I think when we redo the carpet upstairs, the man cave is going to get some work and I think I am going to have more power installed.

ACDSee opens everything.
And I think everyone should have it anyway, much better and faster than the thumbnail viewer in XP and Win7.
