I love listening to my coworkers arguing with tech support.

"I find your site infuriating and I'm not getting off the phone until you email me this manual."

err, why are there leaves for you to pick up?

A variety of reasons:

1. There is a large group of trees next to our subdivision and the winds blow their leaves into my lawn all year long.
2. I have 3 pin oaks in the front and they NEVER drop all their leaves in the fall and gradually lose them into spring. I REALLY hate that and wish they'd drop them all.

Wind is the biggest culprint and they tend to collect in my fence corners.

As a matter-of-fact, I'd say that my pin oaks probably still have 50% of their leaves. Hopefully the spring winds blow them into the neighbor's yard. :D

This is a yearly ritual for me. The front and back yards aren't a big deal because I generally mulch when I mow and the leaves are cut up and mulched into the yard after the first couple of mowings. It is the fence that traps most of the leaves, along with the flower beds.

I'm just getting started a little earlier than normal. I anticipate that at least some areas I did yesterday will get more leaves piled up, but I'd rather do several small piles rather than a couple of huge piles and if I break it up into working a couple of hours every weekend for a few weekends, it will make me avoid having to devote entire weekends to yard cleanup work.
