Put it on the curb, post the ad. It's how I got rid of my son's old bed

my old town had a service where you could drag whatever to the curb and they'd pick it up, but you had to schedule/pay for it.

I scheduled it while I was moving out and took all my junk to the curb. a few hours later, before the town truck ever showed up, almost all of it was gone.

made me so annoyed that I wasted money when I could have just relied on people taking it.

When I've had a day off from work on trash day, there's a parade. Starting at dawn until the city truck arrives, there's a steady stream of scavengers.

Most appear to be harvesting metal. There's a scrap yard nearby and there's always a line on Saturday morning.

The networks are so damn paranoid about their signal. NBC is finally breaking ground by streaming so many major events. Hopefully some of the others catch on with the thinking. Heck, I can't get a lot of my favorite TV channels on my computer even though I have a cable box. I only have a basic DTA in my room, so I don't get those channels in there either.

Some of the people at those networks need to find out that technology is their friend, not their enemy
