the thing is a battery is recycled almost 100%. while the battery price have been going up, the return discount has not kept pace. may actually be better for you to sell the old battery back to recycler directly.

I have a box full of the UPS batteries that I need to take and get recycled. I was going to swap these out first and then take them all in to get recycled.

It will cost about $70 per UPS for batteries. I could swear I paid about $40 last time.
