err, it makes the pig leaner... Fatty bacon is better.

I'd say a good mixture of fat/lean meat is what makes good bacon, all fat and it shrivels into nothing while you are cooking it, all meat and it doesn't get crunchy enough.

I work at a commercial sign company. We make signs that cost upwards of $50,000. People think they can call in and order garage sale signs. ಠ_ಠ
"How'd the garage sale go, Bob?"
"It went ok. We took in $204.46 in sales, but it cost $50,000 for the advertising, so we've got a bit more to sell before we break even"
