If you think working 8 months in a job you're tired of is bad, try doing it for years on end. It is best just to stick around, leave on good terms, and maybe you can work part time or odd schedules for them if you get in a position where you need more money.

I know I should love my job, but I don't. I can't leave for another 15 months minimum, and even then, most would call me insane if I left.

My HT doesnt have the xbox hooked up because a NAS took it's spot. I can't move the switch from my bedroom outside because I need to hook up my desktop + laptop frequently.

I think it's worth the trade off. I don't have access to the attic so more wires = more mess
