How come twenty four hours, Baby sometimes seem to slip into days?
Oh twenty-four hours, Baby sometimes seem to slip into days
A minute seems like a lifetime, baby when I feel this way
Sittin, lookin at the clock, time moves so slow
I've been watchin for the hands to move
Until I just can't look no more

Feelings are difficult to integrate.

Well one could pretend to save time by taking the battery out of the clock but the rest of the world won't notice. 😛

The guy that said you could save ink by writing slower was mistaken as in the day the fountain pen would actually let more ink flow into the paper fibers if its tip were moved slower. That's why they invented a hellish device called the ball point pen.

Time doesn't need a clock to works its wonders - or horrors.

I hate ballpoints too, but my Waterman needs a new cartridge.

Neffing is like a psychobabble snare that sends the tom amps into a clipping frenzy when the last person forgot to load the right program into the limiters. 😉

like that?

People don't need clocks either. Its just another thing that creates a lifelong reliance.

I have 5 or 6 watches. None of them have batteries, but I do need one clock at home and one at work. Other than that I'm managing to survive.

It kicks in like an ugly sound
And I'm split divides me.
Skull collides.
Such a long way down.
Such a big big bad.
Such a bright white light.
Rubber crutch lands so hard.

Automatics? Then you need a winder! 😛

They came from so far away (cellars of Norway)
Where children play in viking bands (sun won't shine all day)
No one seemed to notice
That they came that distance
They just stood outside and
Smoked and talked their business
Play that song again
And go to hell when you die
Wave goodbye at you
As you tune your guitars
And they played and you watched
And you yelled at the drummer
As he poured on the flames
And you passed out on key
Gettin' that band outta my sight...
And they played and you watched
Till the end of the summer
When they boarded their planes
And you walked out
Soaked up and sweating
And I'm forever empty
