Two circuit boards, a laser, a fan, four gears, about thirty screws, and most importantly, a stepper motor. I hope that, at the very least, the stepper is still operational.
Hmm, it occurred to me if the Dremel is ordered to move while drilling, it will need to a) be kept to a very slow movement to avoid snapping the bit, and b) the motors will need a lot of power to overcome the increased drag force and still maintain their expected position.
How's this... the printer costs $2200. Sixteen new ink cartridges (it uses eight at a time) and five new printheads (it uses four at a time) cost $2400.
Neat printer design though. Each ink cartridge and its slot has a different tab design so even if you are illiterate and colorblind, you can't put them in the wrong places. Also, all of the hatches, including the massive top window, have plastic gears so they will lower themselves back down with a nudge, and do so smoothly and slowly.
