I hope thats not true, I am on a few other forums with much bigger threads and they have no issues, why would AT have issues?

Tis true. here's the actual post.

lmao! I just came over here to make a post about the neffing thread, and all three of the posters for that thread are right here in this thread. As it was noted that getting into the advanced edit was really slow in the neffing thread, and we've had earlier complaints about how slow some of the other long threads (just a few thousand posts) were, the question was raised, "could that thread with 98,000 posts possibly be a reason why the server is slow?"

So, temporarily at least, the neffing thread was moved to our recycle bin, at least til those more knowledgeable about the servers and forum software get a chance to chime in.

Amazing how you three seem to have come to the same possible conclusion, as you each posted in the "forum is slow" (nothing about the nef thread) thread.

I do recall that when viedit (or was it elfenix) and I rigged an earlier contest in the neffing thread - I merged a thread of a few hundred posts made just by the two of us into the neffing thread. That really slowed the forums down for about 60 seconds. But, I can't remember if that was under fusetalk, or whether it was after the switch to vB.
