That's how I was taught my numbers when I was young, and now it's a habit with no real reason to change it.

Seven isn't visible on that paper, but I use the pictured method.
When I write my Z I put a line through it just like that :hmm:

I am going to laugh so hard if the Colts win. If Ryan can't beat a team with 1/3 of its players on IR and playing positions 3 and 4 layers deep in many cases, when will he?

Indy, if the Patriots win the Superbowl, does Randy Moss get a ring for being there for four weeks? Do the Patriots get to decide if Randy gets a ring? The NFL decides?

I would guess the Patriots would decide if he gets one or not. When the Colts won their Super Bowl, they gave Edgerrin James a Super Bowl ring even though he was no longer with the team.

That is part of the reason I'd like to see the Colts win - maybe, just maybe, Ryan will realize he sucks, and his team sucks. Also, the fans might shut the hell up.

Besides, I've always wanted to see Peyton come up to New England in a snowstorm. :awe:

Ah, so that's how it works.

I hope he wouldn't get one. There would be great lulz found.

The NFL pays for a set amount of SB rings per team. The owner can buy more above that number, but I think there is a limit. When the Colts won their Super Bowl, Jim Irsay bought 5 extra rings and had a scavenger hunt for charity and the winners received them.

There is also a second tier of Super Bowl rings for employees of the organization and I don't remember if the NFL or the owner pays for those.

If the Jets win, their fans are going to act like they won the Super Bowl.

Ah, I never thought of that search term until you just said it - NFL superbowl rings. Doh. 150 rings seems like a lot.

Be careful of what you wish for -- New England probably should have lost the game against the Colts earlier in the year.

Probably. But our offense and defense have both improved since then, while yours has, well, gone on IR. Also, if it snows, we have a 12th man.

The Jest would likely be an easier win for us though.

I've never seen Peyton in a snow game. Has it happened?

Yes, a few times. He has won in the snow before. He has played against NE in the snow and lost, but that was before the Colts started beating them with regularity.

The worst snow storm I remember seeing him play in was in Denver and the Colts won.
