Fun fact #2: I have probably "hidden" 5 or more friends on Facebook because they broke one or more rules I have. Here are my rules:

1. Don't post an update every few minutes or even every hour. Once a day is enough.
2. Don't post overly dramatic, personal emo crap. That gets you hidden quickly!
3. Don't act like a martyr. One or two posts saying that you've put in 60 hours this week is fine, but if it is a pattern, you get hidden.

I don't actually know anyone IRL that posts or reads AT on a regular basis. I have a friend that has an account on AT that he created because he got pissed at reading some posts in P&N, but he has never actually posted and doesn't regularly read.

I only have 76, so now I feel like a loser.

I've turned down a few people I didn't know or people I didn't like in the past. I've gotten a couple of friend requests from people who went to the same high school as me but graduated 10 or more years later. I suspect we share a mutual friend and I was "recommended" to them by the system, but screw that -- if I don't know you, I won't add you.

This guy who was a dick in high school sent me a request last week. No thanks. I don't accept requests from 1) jerks or 2) friend collectors.

I have about 90% of my high school graduating class, so there's over 100 of them alone. Facebook came out when I was in... oh, ninth grade maybe?

There are a couple girls on my list with over 1700 friends. That's a big WTF.

I hope it is gone by the time I get home. It was there last night and it went up a tree after its initial "battle" with my dog. I let the dog out this morning and we found the raccoon sleeping between the grill and the house. I almost got it out of the yard, but when I paused to open the gate, it got away and ran back up the tree.

I have no intention of killing it. I'll empty a trash can, put it in that, and dump it outside.

Seriously, my yard is a jungle! Chipmunks, rabbits, lizards, bats, and now, a raccoon!!
