That's because you would feel more comfortable playing an injury riddled team than a healthy team like the Red Sox. Typical Yankees fanOriginally posted by: Soccer55

That was a great game, much better than yesterday. Looked like the curse was on Oakland yesterday (and apparently today with the link below). Wasn't fun to see them getting a bunch of bad luck, but, much better than it being on the Sox.
Today though, that was a great game for both teams. Williamson looked focused out there and did the job when it counted. So did our big hitters! It looks like the bats are swinging again for Boston. Excellent timing. Tomorrow's game will be a nail biter, still, I predict. I will be glued to the set.
GO SOX!
PS. What happened to Hudson, strained muscle I think? [edit]
Answer=Sucks for a's even if they (manage to) win tomorrow. Hate to hear that stuff... 2 good pitchers gone = ! Good for Oakland. That said, it's good, nay, great news to a Sox fan.[/edit]
If they do win tonight, then the A's will likely have to put "The Kid" (Rich Harden) on the mound in the next series. The only thing that would make me happier than the Red Sox losing tonight is if my Yankees are the ones to put them out of the postseason.Go A's!

Hey, I could say that your response is typical of a bitter Red Sox fan
