Not sure if it is traditional or even a common thing, but I've decided to buy the future Mrs. minendo a wedding gift. If all works out as planned she is getting a '67 Ford Mustang that the two of us will restore. (By restore, I mean she brings me beer as I do he work. ;))

and that sounds like you are getting yourself a present and using it as an excuse for her to bring you beer. if so, :thumbsup:

Actually I have no desire to own any Ford product. The car is for her and her alone. Now the 69 Camaro that follows is mine. :)

I don't think so or I certainly don't remember getting her anything besides the engagement ring and the wedding band.

Nope... I remember we talked about it the next day. I think we both asked "Was I supposed to get you a present?" lol

Neither one of us bought the other a present.

Not that we had the money to do so anyway. :)

You mean you bought yourself a '67 stang and conned your future wife into thinking it's hers.

You have already mastered the art of Spouse Acceptance Factor.

:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup: to you

Got her over 20k worth of presents mainly in form of various jewelry. It's tradition in our culture.

The infinity dollar wedding dress wasn't enough for her?

If not, then diamonds. She'll pretty much have to. ;)

wow that's awesome :thumbsup:

I'm building her a hi-fi system, partly because she likes music and partly because I wanted to give her something I made. No, wedding presents are not required. But it will be a fun little suprise for her next month :)
