ATOT infiltrating normal life

so its lunchtime and i was talking on the phone with ninjja. she tells me this story and of course, i believe it, but wonder why i wasnt told about it earlier. she then tells me "its because i was lying. you're so gullible. you just got owned but with a p and 3 instead like on ATOT." thus begins the infiltration of ATOT into normal life....

I say "owned" in regular daily life, and most of my friends have starting doing it too. I think its great.

I believe eventually it'll become a regular vocabulary word in everyday life among most people. Eventually becoming a slang word.

Where did "owned" start? Not on ATOT, I don't think... I do recall that the "pwned" was from some game.

yea..my friend still says "owned"

at first they used to look at me weird when i'd say "pwned!" (pronouncing the p)...but now they're used to my 1337ness!

They are, at the very least 6 year old phrases... I mean you could say owned went back all the way to slavery I guess. I'm pretty sure that slave owners must have said the phrase "I own you!" once or twice. pwned is a typo much like teh and dman. It is what happens when people type fast in fps games while trying to fight. Although, somewhere in there was other phrases... rented, swerked, worked, swoned, leased, etc...

HAHAHAH. i too say pwned sometimes...but instead of saying it in front of my friends, id say it while im surfin atot and somone posts a pwn3d pic..i'd say powned out aloud. one time my gf was in the room and said it while surfin atot and she was like wtf?!
