OMFG!!!!!!!! GM IS AT THE RAZOR EDGE OF AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY!!!!!!!11
Cadillac is coming out with an engine called the "V8-6-4". It is going to shut off cylinders as engine power is needed. For isntance, it will only need 4 cylinders to maintain highway speed so you should almost double your mileage. Also, the brilliant engineers at Oldsmobile took their old 350 and converted it to a diesel, which experts are saying will give consumers better than 35 mpg on the highway!!!!!!!!!!1
NOW GET THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!111 Chevy is going to put fuel injection on their new Vettes next year, promising a big boost in horsepower and increased mileage!!!!!!!!!!111

End of post. For the uninformed, all three of the above were announced with great fanfare in the late 70's, but they all bombed horribly, giving GM a black eye in the early 80's.

I just bought my first CP/M machine called a SuperMicro 32X from Molecular Computer, Inc. You can have up to 16 Zilog Z-80 CPUs, each running at 4.0 MHz (up from the original 2.5 MHz!!!!11!!eleventy!).
It's meant to be a multi-user machine, and each user gets their own Z-80 processor and they all sit on an 8 bit CSMA/CD bus with one processor that takes care of a shared floppy and tape drive.
It has a wicked Shugart 8 inch floppy drive, and I got the screaming 300 baud Modulater/Demodulator (modem), instead of the 150 baud Acoustic Coupler. I picked up the whole setup for under $5,000.
What do you think?

The MOS Technology 6502 fvcking PWNS the Zilog. The MOS is four times as fast, because it is a pipelined static processor, clock for clock. MODEL NUMBERS ARE CORRECT, Zilog's constant Mhz war it just BS.
Check the Benchies, Zilog FANBOI :|
