I wanted to say a house centipede but it is missing a lot of legs and the body seems fatter. Can you get a better picture?

I found something similar to that in my house last night. It almost looks like a cross between a cricket, a grub, and a roach. I don't know what it is. The specimen I found was in poor health, and I put it in the cat litter bag. I was working outside all day, and I /think/ it may have come in with me, but I don't know.

Yeah that's exactly what I was thinking too. It's got the body of a roach but the legs of a cricket. Strange

It's actually called a camel cricket. They are big and fat and will definitely give you the heebie jeebies, but they are totally harmless.

Yep, that's it! Did a google image search and the camel/cave cricket matched. Thanks for your help!

The smell of camel toe can be bad enough but a chirping camel cricket would send me running for the hills.
