ATOT: Identify these clouds

Took the family to the park (Gravely Point) outside Reagan National Airport this weekend. The clouds were forming these neat lines in the sky - but I have no idea why.

ATOT - help Jeeebus out.

Neat picture, it's like a rising sun done in clouds. I don't know all the technical names, but I think it's just those high wispy clouds(stratus something or other?) in a nifty pattern.

Looking at Wikipedia, it looks like Cirrus clouds.

My guess is they were all just a bunch of relatively straight lines? Combine super high altitudes with massive distance covered, and you one helluva neat looking composition where no matter what you stand, out in the horizon everything comes together.

Of course, they actually could have merged together somewhat nearby. If that's the case, another dimension is trying to break through. Look for people mucking around with what would appear to be a crab on their head. Stay away from those people.

Pretty picture. I once had a picture (lost it in a format) of some really weird looking bronze colored clouds. They were all clumpy, and low lying. I wish I still had it. 🙁

Those are classic chemtrail clouds. Probably formed the evening before.

One of the local mainstream television stations here is going to run a special about "are those just contrails, or are they spraying something from high altitude."
