Every time I have played Mike Tyson's punch out, I can't beat Glass Joe (even with game genie)

^ Not video game inclined.
 
I remember being really young (<5 years old) at the laundromat with my parents. I was bugging to them to give me a quarter to play Mario Bros. on the arcade. They finally gave me the quarter and I loss all my lives within 30 seconds. I kept mistiming my jump and would run into the first guy.

I don't know if I ever lost to glass Joe. However, in my prime of 10-11 years old, I could beat Tyson 2 out of 3 tries. Now that I've let my conditioning go, laid off the heavy bag and use only the thigh master, I cannot beat Tyson. 007-393-5963 and I can get to him all day, though.

Did you enjoy it? Whoppers arent as good as I remember them when I was a kid. The lack of flame broiled taste ruins it. I think they use some spray on liquid smoke now or something.

I am 29 and only once did I ever go to a BK.
Got a regular burger and didnt like it, never went back.

Since we are confessing, I talk a lot of crap about Sonic but never once played it, even though I knew about 3 or 4 guys with a Genesis and Sonic game with the console. Never played. Just talk shit.
 
First time I played Mario Bros. I fell into the first pit while chasing the secret 1up shroom, there's a friend that still pokes fun at me for this.
 
I remember Glass Joe giving me trouble if I'd take more than a few weeks off from the game. The first time I'd play after such a break, Joe would beat me down pretty good. But once I got used to the timing again, it was totally on.

That being said, did anyone here actually try playing Punch Out using the power glove? That sh!t was HARD.

I wouldn't feel bad about that, I doubt there are many people that can beat contra without it.

i've never seen anyone beat it without the konami code.






i got my whole party to level 99 in final fantasy 2. that took forever.
