I wasn't around when ValuAmerica went under and everyone scammed bestbuy for $400 =(

It wasn't a scam, it was a legal loophole for CA/OR residents. Since we didn't have Best Buy back then, I went to Office Depot with a friend and two co-workers. Each of us received $400 instore credit and cancelled our MSN accounts the next day.

Sign up for MSN ISP for 3 years and receive an instant $400 instore credit.

The next day cancel and there were no penalties, you get to keep the $400 for free.

Unfortunately after the media broke the story, MSN quickly fixed that loophole 🙂

Remember when GeekBabe (formerly baffled2) spent two days without internet and somebody in OT "proposed" to her and OT spent two days fixing them up before she got back online and found out about it?

MiataGirl, 'nuff said.

The Scroll

The Skoorbs and the odd fascination OT had with them for so long.

Moonbeam/Elledan/linuxboy/Athanasius threads... oye, my head hurts just thinking about it

Whatever happened to Paulson, he was like the perpetual mod-aggrevator. I seem to remember him being banned about 20 times in a single year.
