I don't know if you're a Top Gear watcher, Brigden, but it might be worth waiting for the new Range Rover sport. A little smaller, but a lot faster. And a lot cheaper.

We've had the RR for six months. I saw that episode, but I prefer our model.

I think it's ridiculous that even the ~400hp supercharged model goes 0-60 in about 7 seconds.

I bought it to look cool and piss off our neighbors, not for drag racing. The car can move and it feels fast enough.
I knew a girl in high school (she was TINY too, which made it funny) who drove an older Land Rover Discovery II (1998 maybe?), and the thing literally was falling apart at the seams. It wasn't even funny how many electrical gremlins the damn thing had.Originally posted by: Nebor
I do like the way they look. In fact, I like just about everything about them. Funny enough, I have some friends that are Land Rover nuts, having owned several discos & rovers, and say that they're the most reliable cars on the road. Then I have some who've owned one and pronounced it a complete failure, a terribly unreliable car.
I wonder which is true...
