ATOT Health: Dietary Crap

Ok, we've talked about all sorts of health related topics in here before, but I don't recall anything about dietary supplements. Ask anyone at a gym or a GNC and they will turn into uber-salesperson, but I have yet to get unbiased info about dietary stuff. Do things like protein powders or shakes or any of these wierd thing actually do anything for you? I eat healthy, just take a daily multivitamin, and spend about 30 to 60 mins a day at the gym. I'm just working on burning off the small layers of fat I have in unwanted placed and get a little more tone. Would I benfit from any of these products or are they just hype?

There was a thread on Ripped Fuel a day or two ago...That's the only one I take now (outside of vitamins) though I've used Creatine in the past

Things like Ripped Fuel seem like more of a fat burner and energy booster. I really don't need to lose weight or get more energy, I'm just thinking protein powders and nutritional things that encourage muscle development and the like.

<< I've been taking Apex Fitness products for 3 mos. now and lost 30 lbs. I'm not doing any cardio, just heavy lifting. >>

Where do you get it? Is it expensive?
