You need to post pics.. it really is a case by case basis. You also need the right pair of frames to compliment your face.

If you don't think there are good frames for prescription lenses you are most definitely shopping in the wrong place.

I think more importantly it depends on the people you are trying to attract. Some people love them on people, others don't. Same thing with facial hair. Some women love a guy with a beard or some stubble. Other's want their men baby butt smooth on their face.

Glasses have become quite a fashion trend as of late so you really can't go wrong if you pick a pair that work well for your face/style.

I would say contacts, simply because I hate glasses. I wore glasses for a couple of weeks when I first got prescribed them, and then switched to contacts. Best decision of my life, glasses suck. I actually feel sorry for people who wear glasses because I hate wearing them so much.

Contacts take me about 30 seconds total to put them in/take them out every day, and the rest of the day I wouldn't even know I was wearing them if I couldn't see better.

Glasses on guys don't really work, unless you're going for the male nerdy hot librarian look. Or maybe you like the emo-goth, or uptight stick up the ass kind of guy.

Girls are a different story... I get the feeling that there's a patriarchal thing going on though: "aww, the dumb girl looks so cute trying to look smart".

Be glad you don't have an astigmatism. That prevents me from being able to daily wear contacts. I get a lot of blurriness right at the distance a computer screen normally is to me. Even trying toric lenses they didn't help that much. Plus they were a pain in the ass. I've also go really dry eyes and bad seasonal allergies so after a couple hours my eyes are usually bloodshot and in misery after wearing contacts.

The only time I really loathe glasses is when I go to work out or try to do outdoorsy stuff where I'm sweating and can't keep them on my head. For those things I keep a big box of daily disposables around that I use for a couple hours and then toss.

"eyedealy" I'd get lasik and be rid of any major eye correction short of maybe reading glasses, but I'm just not totally convinced on the long term effects of the procedures and not absolutely comfortable with the risks.

That kind of depends on your eyes.
Some people can't, or shouldn't, wear contacts for various medical reasons.
Also it depends on your workplace.

Tape electrical tape around the center part. If she still goes for you, you know she really loves you and wont judge you based on appearance alone. 😛

You should be fine long as your glasses are stylish and match your face. I just got my first pair a couple months ago. So far I've gotten a bunch of compliments from random girls.

I have had glasses since i was 14. most people have said i look better with them on. just have to find a pair that compliment your face.

I switched to contacts when I first started dating my wife because I thought I would be more attractive without glasses. Turns out my wife likes me better with glasses.

You need to post pictures of yourself with and without glasses.

Contacts are a PITA. I like glasses.

both of these. I ditched my contacts long ago because my eyes just became too sensitive, and they are a bitch to deal with.

In general, though, I don't think the random girl will give a shit if you wear glasses or not. They tend to care about "personality" and all that shit.

That being said, whenever I would be on a first date or in situations where I might meet some new women's, I tended to go with contacts in those situations.

You know what guys, I think OP is just trolling for "his" meme. He's hoping something will magically happen in this thread.
