Draft time matters more to me than date. With kids needing to be put to bed I request it be at least 8PM EST and ideally 9PM EST.

A bit over two hours. 2h3m last time. There's a few things we can do to tighten it up that won't impact too much, like reduce time allowed to nominate someone for bidding (default is 30 seconds) or to bid (also 30). What tends to slow us down are all the $1 guys near the end that you know aren't going to get a bid but unless every single owner clicks "pass." Every time that happens you need to wait the entire 30 seconds for the player to get sold for a buck to whoever nominated him. And then often the next guy to nominate is away from the computer and then you gotta wait another 30 seconds for the next nomination to be auto-queued.
 
we definitely drop those times as we get further into the draft, but it still takes a while. if we're at about 2 hours including the garbage time at the end, I think we can manage with a 9pm est start? a lot of people are done before that and most don't need to stick around until the very end


and we still need 1 person
 
I have to ask, is there anyway to cutdown on the last second bids? It's not like you can steal someone since the counter resets to 10 seconds anyway? I know some people might like the feeling of getting a bid in there at the last second, but it always seemed kind of silly to me.
 
I have September 5th at 8 eastern in my calendar right now and that works for me.
