Just switched to a new machine for a shoutcast stream, and need to kinda load test it.

Right now it's streaming a live talk show of sorts but normally runs industrial music.

Anyway, it's a 128k stream, so i'm hoping that it shouldn't kill the connection too easily... =)

The stream URL is http://67.19.206.11:8000

If that doesn't work, just hit up www.nocturnalradio.com and there should be a direct link to the stream from there.

Hmm, wonder if it has to do with the current stream being live broadcast. Normal music is 128k. Lemme check with them really quick...

Also, would like to see if I can't get about 100 connections going at once just to see if the system can handle that level of a load.

Much appreciated hevnsnt!

Looks like a lot of ppl are connecting but disconnecting pretty quickly. Assuming it's not a bother, please try to keep the stream running for a bit. Need to get a lot more connected to stress test this fully (only have about 7 connected right now...)

Just passed that onto the show guys. Not sure exactly what their selection is since they are limited to record labels they have managed to get permission from, but it's definitely worth a shot =)

Yeah..play some classic rock or something..then Id leave it on.

Alas, my tickets for the Moody Blues are the closest I'm gonna be to classic rock anytime soon.

Edit: The lazy guys on air should be coming back from their 'halftime' break soon.

I'm listening right now. Do you do your own "programming" for the industrial music? Are you simply echoing another station right now? This would be pretty cool to listen to at work...
