These shirts wouldn't be made, sold, or bought if they weren't offensive! People wear them because they get a rise out of others, because they're funny, and because, yes, they offend some people. Whether that's edgy, stupid, or anything else, that's the way it is and Abercrombie knows it. More power to them!

Hell, I have a shirt that simply says, "F*ck you." on the front. I had it custom made, too. Is it offensive? You're damn right it is! That's the point! Wearing it out at the bars is hilarious and - not by accident - a great way to get people to talk to you. 😀
 
Honestly, no, they don't offend me.

But, I don't think too much of people who wear them. It's along the same lines as the girls who party too much in college, then graduate and still show up at college parties, when they're like 28 or so. It's sad, and just makes you shake your head.

and i personally despise people that actually think like that, so seeing some one wearing that would make me think twice about bothering to talk to them

I think some Sociology or Psychology classes would help in not judging people that fast.
 
they are funny. and hey, maybe the person who's wearing them might have a sense of humor too. otherwise, don't buy it. altho, if you were a shirt that says slut or whore plastered over it.. I might have to second guess why you're wearing it.
 
This thread is a perfect example of just how petty and stupid people have become. Where did all the senses of humor go? I guess they are becoming a rare and extinct commodity.
 
I bet the majority of the women who are protesting those t-shirts are overall not at all attractive, donut bumpers, and those who dress like men because it makes them feel as if they're on the same level as men.

If there were men's shorts that said "Got Milk?" on the crotch area, I wouldn't mind.

i never said i would label them a "stupid slut" or conceited right off the bat, i'll im saying is that what you wear can say just a little something about yourself, as for it being entirely for humor, you don't know that with out actually talking to them

example A: if you wear sports jerseys, it's more than likely that you are interested in some kind of sport

B: if some one is wearing "gothic" clothing and has their lips painted black, they are probably not going to have Nsync as their favorite band

your first impression is a lasting impression

i never said i would label them a "stupid slut" or conceited right off the bat, i'll im saying is that what you wear can say just a little something about yourself, as for it being entirely for humor, you don't know that with out actually talking to them

You still judging... and this is not against you, we all do it, all the time. But if we all stopped and thought about it more, i think we would give others a fair chance.
 
Unless something is a direct personal attack it is a character flaw to get offended at anything.

don't worry about it, im just saying, that i would have to talk to them first before i really decided to like them or not, i was mentioning just a small insinuation i (and most people) make right off the bat

i was listening to the radio this morning (KQRS in minneapolis)

and a guest on there was talking about "the offended observer" not a lot comes up on google but its something im looking into

Whoever comes up with the A&F campaigns needs to get fired already. Why can't they just go about their business without offending people... you know... like their competitors have been able to do.

On the other hand, they are great at making a name for themselves. But are they doing any better than the others ?

Don't wear them if your boobs arn't nice.
