Couple of my wife's students took part in an international technology design competition.
Final results are determined by online voting, so I'm just asking for you to consider a vote for them if you think their design is a good one.

They designed the "All Terrain Tank" under the "Education, K-12" section.

Do take a look at the other designs too. I think some of these designs are really amazing.

Wow, some of those are pretty cool.

Ok, WHAT THE FVCK?!

The transmission design is straight from a 1/8 scale R/C buggy. That's not engineering, that's a steaming pile of bullshit shoveled straight from the bull's ass. Some of these kids just take modern designs and draw up plans? WTF? The all-terrain tank is one of the best and most original ideas there, it's got my vote.

Think the idea is to use the software to draw something.
So technically, I guess the other teams didn't violate any rules of the competition.

Do you think they'll be a little courious when the tank get's 100000000 more votes than anything else?

What about the air compressor? I think that was invented about the same time the steam engine was, so ~250 years ago? lol.

I think the point is to use the software, not come up with a unique invention.

 ProE, Solid Edge, Solid Works, etc. can make most of this crap with templates. this isnt amazing, or even hard. i draw things like this on a weekly basis, and im not special. no big deal here, not even for high schoolers.

no need for a cookie. i didnt mean to take a crap in the thread, but it just isnt that amazing. most 3d programs have templates with very complicated designs that are easy to adapt to your liking. doing a few tutorials and messing around with ProE and anyone here could make stuff like that.

We used two motors to drive the vehicle. It can either be a front-wheel drive or a rear-wheel drive vehicle,
Someone needs to tell them that treads are not wheels, and tanks are neither FWD or RWD.
