can't find it anymore, the guy wanted people to vote his fiancee's haunted house as one of the best in the city. the webmaster, i guess saw unnatural bursts of votes during off hours and removed their entry.

great you found the thread... i searched for 30 minutes last night and gave up.

from that thread, if you go to the voting site, you'll see

"ON THE SUBJECT OF CHEATING: We've already had one haunted house try to stack the deck here; 150 votes in 5 hours in the dead of night isn't exactly subtle. We're not stupid. If you want to have your haunted house removed from the voting for unethical practices, keep it up."

i guess that's the reason why op of the thread asked mods to lock the thread before anyone comments on it.
