I'd just to chime in here. First off, yes, I would hit that faster than the fist of an angry God, but I think we place too much emphasis on having things in common with our mates. Now, I'm not the smartest guy in the world, but I am not an idiot by a longshot. I have that going for me more than anything else (and that's sad). I would be threatened by someone who looks like her that also claims to be into LotR and complex analysis. Think about it - do you want your GF to fix your computer, or do you want her to be merely aware enough of how much skill and intelligence it takes and APPRECIATE the fact that YOU CAN do it and SHE CANNOT?
The people who say that mates should have things in common, and people who say that opposites attract are half right. I happen to be attracted to women who can do things I can't - the artists, the performers and not the math/science types. I find what they do to be fascinating, and I'd like for my mate to find what I do fascinating as opposed to besting me at it.
Never mind the fact that if cucumbers could take out the garbage, women into "complex analysis" wouldn't need men at all.

That is the most idiotic thing I've ever heard. In other words you want to keep the wimmins down because you're intimidated by them.

No. No you wouldn't. Not in an eternity of eternities. You won't even come remotely close. Nobody here will.
