i worded that a little strangely. sorry about that. honestly though, what adult woman holds hands with another man in an intimate fashion without an agenda? maybe its just where im from, but people dont do that. ive never seen people holding hands who i knew were not together/married. and no, she is not easy. if you can show me an example of when it would be appropriate for someones wife to walk around outside holding another mans hand for no reason at all, then i will retract my statement. to me that is somewhat of an intimate gesture that would reveal a more serious intent if that line has already been crossed. cheating to me has already been committed before the sex was had if there is intent to do it at some point. if someone wants go cheat and knows it will definitely not be ok with their spouse, there is already something wrong. acting on it physically in any way is not the first step...its a second or third. if your definition is different, then that might be where you didnt understand me.

The implication I caught from your wording is that "if a married woman is holding hands with another guy, she's going to sleep with him."

By that logic, I'm a pimp, and my best friend's a swinger. :p

you have the elite ability to come in to this thread and be technically right about my misspelling, but be completely wrong on the issue at hand.

Losing sight of the entire plot of the story, to comment about an uncrossed t, on page 276...FTL!!!

Her husband may have suspicions and you may be giving him the evidence. At least in court he will have some hard evidence if he needs it. You could be doing him a favor but it gets you involved. If I felt morally inclined to do something, I would probably take an anonymous approach.

if i were a military spouse overseas and had a husband that was entertaining another woman while i was gone, and holding her hand in public, someone damn well better tell me. anyone who witnessed this cheating and looked the other way did NOT do me a favor by letting me look like a fool.

I am equally offended by the treatment these guys are giving this offense. Not even a hand slap, but a blind eye.

Rat the cheating whore out. Yes I would want to know. Painful as it may be. Get pics and anonymously slip them to her husband when he returns.

If you saw somebody stealing from a store, would you say something? For you not to, you'd either need to 1) not find that behavior inappropriate or 2) not care about theft and it's ultimate affect on the world and you. Either way you're an amoral idiot.

I agree completely.

However, the only things the OP has seen is a man coming and going, and the wife holding hands with him. The stakes are too high to act without first hand knowlege. No matter how likely his guess is to be accurate, it's still a guess.

If you let the dude knows and he doesn't care, then so be it. I just know if I was that dude, I'd hope someone would be looking out for me whether I approve or not. Sure, if you are the type to screw around on your wife/husband, I'm sure you don't want people "prying". But then again who gives a rats ass what a cheating bastard thinks.

Actually, it's a really bad ANALOGY, akin to the one brought up earlier when the neighbour spied a hypothetical thief breaking into the home. The sooner you realize what evidence he has to go on, the sooner your melon can wrap itself around the fact that he's got no true evidence at all. Just speculation and jumping to conclusions.

MYOB

I understand what you're feeling, but what if she only does that while he's away? I'm not saying it's the best thing, but at least he doesn't have to see it. Maybe she just needs some "release" while he's gone. Again, not great, but maybe not the worst thing in the world.

For a million reasons, you should MYOB.

Well.. I do agree that the stakes are high. However, is this guys car there overnight? If so I think its pretty safe to assume what is going on.

Then take your assumptions to the wife, not the husband. If she confirms them, then go to the husband.

Do it anonymously.

Ditto

Be careful where you take the pictures from. Make sure that the angle can't be traced back to your house as the point the photos were taken from. I'd suggest doing it from your car.

But given her attitude from the first time his wife and their neighbor tried to go meet her I'm pretty sure her response will be "Go away. MYOB".
Then what? To me that kind of response says guilty as charged.
