Another straight-A semester...😀

Final GPA...3.94

Not too bad for an old high school drop out.

My luck however, runs true to form. It took my wife several weeks to convince me that I had to "walk" at graduation last night.

The commencement ceremony is to be held outside at the school stadium. Of course, it started raining lightly Thursday night...but, they say we're still going according to schedule .I show up at 4:30 per campus instruction for a 6:00 graduation, and...<black cloud> it's raining harder and harder. Finally, about 5:15, they make the announcement to postpone the commencement. First time in the school's 89 year history that they completely postponed it, instead of just moving it into the school gymnasium.
Their reason? Yep...you guessed it. Swine Flu FUD.

"Due to the increased alert status for the Swine Flu that occurred this week, the decision was made not to hold the event in the enclosed space of the Gymnasium."

Rescheduled for Wednesday evening.

4 projects, 4 finals, and I still have to organize/run a charity event for my promotional marketing class. Working construction 5am-1pm this summer seems like a break compared to this shit!

I still have three weeks to go but in that time I have to complete:

- 20 page research paper for my seminar
- 15 page research paper
- 14 page research paper
- 10 page final
- 6 page final (today's task)
- 5-10 page final
- 5 page response paper

This is going to suck.

Is your major English or History?

Political science, actually. However, I am studying abroad right now and 3 of my courses are taught by graduate professors, who tend to give more work than regular professors. Also, all of my classes are IR courses, not political science.

Currently down to:

-10 pages left of the 20 pager (finishing today)
-14 page research paper (due May 17)
-5 pages left of 10 page final (due tomorrow)

nice going! 🙂 i would never be able to do all that...i suck at writing papers lol

Just finished my last final. Should have 3 A's and a B this semester. 😀

I got a bottle of Jameson on the way home, also. Life is good.

Oh man oh man.. got the top score on my signals and systems final. Money in the bank 😀

Maybe i'll get all As afterall 🙂

Took a Physics final...was alright, guessed on 5-6 questions out of 49. It was somewhat unfair though, as me and my section took our finals in an old crappy music building which had no desks, and the finals were to be done on our laps using these clipboard-like pads. That shouldn't happen; physics is calculation based, and a desk is ideal. Nontechnical classes should be the ones w/o desks during finals! /semi-mini-rant

Passed all my classes. Wasn't sure if I would or not, because this semester I took a lot.

6 classes for 18 credit hours + 40 hours/wk at work for the semester. Monday-Friday up at 6:30, start working at 7:30, leave at 4, goto class until 830 pm, go home and do homework.

Thank god that's done. Will be getting reimbursed from work for all 6 classes to boot . Classes I cared about: A, B, B, B-. Classes I didn't care about (accounting and intro to business in the global environment): C+, C. Final GPA 2.8 which I'll take.

Done and done. Managed to pull out A's on the six classes this semester. Now I can only hope that will get me the much desired scholarships...

Still can't believe I got the A in my math class..made it by 1%. 🙂
