1) What are your favorite smokes?
2) Do you have a humidor?
3) Do you buy online or do you have a favorite shop?
4) If you go to a shop, what's it like?
5) Where do you usually do your smoking?

As for myself,

Big fan of La Gloria Cubana, Partagas Black and El Rey de Mundo.

I do not have a humidor because I'd be going through my cigars like a kid goes through candy if I ever had that many sitting around, as I do on vacations...

I buy from a local shop that has a really nice lounge in the back, and lots of good people from all walks of life. I've gotten a lot of great consulting jobs through them.

I like smoking outside and only make exceptions for extreemly well ventilated places like my cigar lounge. Nothing is more relaxing than a cigar smoke, a scotch and a sunset...

Favorite smokes are Cohibas. I also like Gurkha's.

I do have a humidor, but it's a small one that hold maybe 20 cigars.

I buy both online and from a shop. There are a couple local shops I go to. I perfer one over the other because it also sells shisha that I smoke as well.
Online, I buy from www.cigarsinternational.com

The shops I go to are small. One of them is actually in a mall, and the other is in a shopping center.

I havent had a good cigar in about a month though due to the nasty humidity and hot weather outside.

I like smoking my cigars with a nice cognac like Remy Martin XO. Sometimes, I just smoke them with a couple beers or a cheaper cognac.

I buy almost exclusively online, though I try and stop into a shop once or twice a year to browse and ask questions.

I have a 40qt Coolerdoor and usually have 50-75 cigars on hand at any one time.

I smoke an average of two cigars a week probably, outside on my deck, with a Scotch and small beer or a heavy ale.

Some of my favorites, in no particular order:
Black Pearl
Don Juan Criollo <--nobody knows about this cigar and it's quite tasty.
Bucanero Full Sail
CAO Brazilia
Partagas Serie D No. 4

Just to name a few. I like full bodied short cigars.

I like Cohibas and Romeo y Julietas. Probably my favorites.

I do have a humidor and it will hold probably 50-60 cigars. I think I have about 20 in there currently.

I order from JR Cigar online usually Edit-Don't buy their no name brand specials...they are cheap and they suck. Haven't had a good one yet anyway.. A neighbor of mine sometimes picks up real Cuban cigars for her husband when she's out of the country and he will usually give me a couple...man, those are good!

I usually smoke on our patio in the back yard. The wife won't let me smoke in the house. I don't smoke much though. Maybe one cigar a month or so.

Actually, I think they smell really good. Nothing like cigarette smoke. And the smell doesnt stick to your clothing like cigarette smoke.

And I'll wager French people think BO smells really good, too.

I HATE ciagarettes. Cigar smoke I can handle, but prefer fresh air. I do have a question though. At a local restaurant they have a bar with a smoking section, but it says NO PIPES OR CIGARS! Why? Is it because they have a powerful smell? Or because often people fill pipes and cigars with illegal substances?

I remember smoking a cigar in my dress shirt a couple summers ago and after having it dry cleaned I could still smell the faint smell of cigar smoke in the shirt the next time I wore it. It smelled good actually but then it was a good cigar I smoked.

Cigar and pipe smoke is a lot thicker than whispy cigarette smoke. It tends to hang in the air.

Interesting, I have never ever noticed this phenomenon. Then again, of all of my dry-clean only clothes, I only ever smoke cigars in my tweed blazer/smoking jacket.

So it is probably more for the benefit of the patrons in the non-smoking section than for those in the smoking section?

This was a 100% cotton button down shirt, which I much prefer to the polyester blends.

it'll be for the benefit of the whole restaraunt. Those little partitions and slightly different ceiling heights will be powerless against a good cigar. Unless the bar has really good ventilation, the whole restaraunt will smell like it

What would you guys recommend for someone who's always been smoking those small Havana's? Nothing too expensive, but a nice, thick, full bodied cigar. My grandfather's birthday's coming up real soon.

I prefer Swisher sweets perfectos. Havatampa Jewels are also very good.
