I'm out of Belgian goodness. So tomorrow I'll be buying some Stone Arrogant Bastard (I like one, maybe two, than it's too much for me) and some Bells Amber or Third Coast.
Not a Trappist, but tonight's beer is a Belgian Duchesse de Bourgogne. A fantastic beer with wonderful flavors of alternating sweetness and tartness. Amazing what the Belgians can do with an ale.
I moved to the Netherlands recently, and have been considering whether or not to get some Westvletern 12, since the abbey is really not that far away from where I live. Ultimately though I decided it's too much of a pain, so I'll stick with Trappiste Rochefort 10, which is pretty damn good too, and a whole lot easier to get.
