"Big 5 Sport Mart in California" != casio.com guys. The link is just a "product information link" that happens to be some sort of casio store, too.

I don't see "B&M" anywhere in his post.

"in California"
generally that would mean B&M.

BTW thanks for the deal!

Dayum!! I thought it was atomic powered!

There was an atomic powered Bulgarian model in the late '70's, an off-shoot of the East block "An Atomic device in every garage, first we must build the garage" five year economic development plan. At 300 pounds, it was kind of heavy on the wrist, but it sure beat their previous steam powered model.

Great Deal!
But like many deals I don't find this particular watch to be very -shall I say - attractive.

I am however thinkin it looks GREAT on Aunt Flo!! That dull grey display compliments her dull blue hair in the most delightful way!! I'm thinkin to buy HER one :D

More compliments on this watch than any other I have had (including my Tag Heuer). Go figure. Many inquire as to what the 'little circle' is for. People trip when you tell them it mean that it has recieved a radio calibration signal to synch it with the Atomic Cesium clock in , I think Fort Wills Colorado within the las three days. That is how long the synch icon stays.

Metal Band
World Time
Electro-Luminescent Backlight with Afterglow
50 Meter Water Resistant
all for 20 bucks

The Timex Internet Messenger watch for under $50 is much nicer and also has "atomic" FlexTime automatic time setting. And an email address. And it looks very nice.

The Timex Internet Messenger is a nice watch. I picked one up last year after seeing it posted as a hot deal on AnandTech. It is really nice for travelling because you switch between local time and your home time. The Timex Internet Messenger does go thru a lot of batteries, but if you buy the in one of those circular packs they are fairly cheap. After changing battery, it comes up with a crazy time and date, but within a few minutes it has the correct time and date. Also the yahoo news is pretty neat.

* Atomic Watch
Receives time calibration radio signals which keep the displayed time accurate

Hmm.. radio signals... Will this work outside US ?
