That can't go over well... his style doesn't lend itself to soliloquy.

Ayn Rand's philosophy isn't bad, just a bit ideologically extreme and cold-hearted. But at least it doesn't require a perfect world to work like communism does.

actually i think it does require a perfect world, but is the complete polar opposite of communism. Rand for one hated anything collective

No, she hated forced collective, where people had no choice but to participate or be punished. She fully supported voluntary associations. She also strongly supported atheism, the rule of law, and other classical liberal ideals, and was strongly opposed to anarchy.
She also didn't worship money, she was anti-corporatist/anti-fascist, and she was anti-war.
To be blunt, a lot of people have wrong opinions of Rand's philosophy.
IMO, the 2 most valid criticisms of her ideals is that they are cold and bitter (understandable given her early life experience with communism), and that she gave FAR too much credence to the Great Man philosophy (i.e. John Galt and Howard Roark).

Otherwise, no need for a perfect world like communism, as there is no need for everyone to comply as there is with communism. Her ideology full accepted all the potential real world negatives that it would occur with it, and just insisted that such negatives were worth the price.
