T-20 Minutes and Holding

Fri, 08 Jul 2011 14:11:12 GMT
Countdown clocks have paused for a 10-minute, planned hold.

They're still go for launch; I guess they're going to opt to launch with some clouds rather than trying to push for a perfect sunny day.

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

We really ought to be focusing more on our space program... /sigh

Last one?

This is the very last space shuttle mission, and of course launch. After it lands it goes off to some museum I believe. Space program won't have another vehicle to send people to space for a few years at least, not entirely sure what the timeline is after this.

The local economy here, is about to get a lot worse. Thousands of good paying jobs will be gone.
