I had a previous thread on going to Vegas. Talked to my wife about it. It's to costly so we are not going. I appreciate everyone's help. I swear that I will go there sooner than later.

So, plan B. We live close enough to Atlantic City to drive there.

So, any recommendations on where to stay?
How to save money?
What are some good shows to go see?
package deals?
We'd stay 2 nights unless there are good deals if we were to stay 3 nights.

We'd probably have a very nice dinner one night atleast. But we won't be splurging on dinners.

I know nothing about Atlantic City.

This is all for our 10 year anniversary in July.

Thanks again.

Off topic, but for reasons I always imagined that you were in your late 20s, early 30s...might still be right about that, but not likely.

I live in Connecticut. Mohegan is about 30 minutes from my house and Foxwoods about 50 minutes.

Never stayed overnight and hotel rates at those places are CRAZY on the weekends ($300/night if you are lucky). There is no real reason to stay at them either unless all you do is gamble.

You didn't see any upcoming shows that looked good? I used to like going there for a steak dinner and to see the PBR bullfights :)

If your plans are gambling $20 a day in the casinos, then the boardwalk in AC will only wipe out another hour. That adds up to about 1 hour and 10 minutes. 2 hours and 10 minutes if you walk along the beach.

Heh... he could probably blow another 90 minutes to eat some lunch at a boardwalk cafe, and another 60 minutes looking at the trinket shops. I wouldn't spend more than a day there, though.

About once a year, Foxwoods get a comedian that I want to see. Bill Burr I think is coming in June.

Last year I saw Jim Breuer. He killed it.
