Atkins killed my Krispy Kreme

I like KK and DD... KK has better glazed stuff (sooo sweet... yes, too sweet but OMG I love it so) and DD rulz with their filled donuts... MMMmmmm donuts...

Screw Atkins, I love my carbs dammit.

My hometown is 8th fittest 😛

Anyway, it's the June 7th issue. They have a very informative map of county-by-county BMI statistics. And the point is, it's you Southerners and other folks east of the Mississippi that are all so fat. Not the US as a whole.

Well..the main reason I don't like that map is that the % difference isn't that large from level to level.

who cares about doughnuts?!? what is it with americans and brand mania? its like the japs go mad for things for a while then go to the next thing. americans go for food brands then drop them. sunny delight had this a few years ago, but the product was nothing, just some cheap orange-like chemicals.

it mystifies me.

Actually, it sucks compared to any old fashioned donut place.

yea, i remember going to kk for the novelty. i haven't been back for over a year. not that i'm on atkins, it just doesn't seem that great anymore. overpriced warm tiny donuts. bah.

And you epitomize how ignorant many Americans are. THEY FVCKING TASTE GOOD!!!! The point is to enjoy yourself. Yeah, obviously you should eat them in moderation, but I'll be damned if I'm going to stop eating KKs for the rest of my life.

yeah, I totally agree, but no other donut shop can replicated the "goo-ie-ness" / softness in each KK donuts. 🙁
 
KK only has it's glazed donuts... anything else... is waaaay to sweet since they are all glazed based pretty much.


on that note, screw atkins and gimme my loaf of bread and a bucket of fries 😛

I hope the KK in my neightborhood never shuts down. Nothing is better then fresh unglazed donuts
