i also run a good 2.5 miles a day... which probably has a significant amount to do with the weight i lost, but atkins gave me the motivation to keep it up. i also do not eat any more fat than i did when i was a fatass. actually, i think i eat less.
you do not HAVE to eat large amounts of unhealthy fat to be on atkins... there are ways around it.
i think the reason north american is so fat is because of sugary sodas.. if we did not have soda, or if everyone drank the wonderful diet soda known as diet rite.. we would all be better off 😀
