It's sort of amusing to me,

I remember countless Ati fans insulting Nvidia for Dawn, saying how cheesy it was to 'use sex to sell' a video card. Times change don't they. I am glad Ati are make a virtual babe, why not?

It's also funny how people think the rename to 3dmark03.exe or quake3.exe will make dawn nude was an easter egg added by nvidia, when it was an easter egg added by the opengl wrapper.

Countless, eh?

NV30 was clothing without an emperor (marketing without product). NV40 is an emperor sportin' some fancy duds. Sex won't sell cards, IMO, but it can distract you. I think ATi can do just as well promoting R420 with an impressive animal demo, but that's just me.

And I think Nalu's tatas are somewhat toned down from Dawn's, no? A bit more surreal, yet a bit more reasonable. I'm expecting a fairy riding a unicorn for NV45.

Well, I like the Dawn Demo, no sexy, but fun to watch, although short. Dusk was more fun to watch, packing more background detail and outlasting the first one.
The other demos were alright. Not to much fun to watch.

The best ATI demos I like was definitely the Pipe Dream Demo. I also like the effects of the Car paint, but I loved to watch Pipe Dream.

I have a sneaking suspicion that tail comes off as easily as Dawn's leaves do.

I'm pretty sure it was the program, not the wrapper. The wrapper only translates the driver calls.

We can easily test it by asking an nVidia owner to try it. Rollo perhaps? Do something useful with that 5800 for a change.

Sorry dude, I have to disagree with you there. I mean given the choice between a nude Gorilla or a nude Dawn I think it's painfully obvious which most people would prefer.

Nalu has 300,000 polygons.

Ruby has 80,000.

Would anyone care to make unfounded speculation as to how this may or may not indicate that NV40 has tons more juice than r420? C'mon...it's in style to speculate and you don't want people to think you're some kind of nerb do you? DO YOU?

I have to saw I agree with you somewhat, but the companies do have to show off the abilities of their cards some how. What would you rather have sweaty male gouls with pitchforks or a saucy mermaid? By the way, I'm not sure I can remember the last time I heard breasts referred to as tatas.

May not, if you visit the B3d boards or if you just looked at that picture Ruby will not be demoed alone and onome sort of background which is static or is repeated over and over to cover the whole screen

Deleting teh DDS files is for noobs , all us perv's all use the Fairy Nude Patch 1.3, available here.

Not only does it let you see Dawn *and* Dusk nude, but on both nVidia and ATI cards as well as emulated on non-DX9 cards. Plenty of other options for all the geeks to F@P away. Nothin like virtual bewbies zoomed in at 16x12x4x8. Yup, I got my moneys worth out of the 5900...

Just use caution with that patch, people. For the good of baby Jesus.
