ATIFlash error: cannot locate adapter? New card with stock BIOS :S

Hey guys,

Using ATIFlash tool to unlock the shaders on my XFX 6950 1GB ZDFC. Booted into DOS with a USB stick that has the new BIOS and the ATIFlash files. Confirmed using dir command files are there. However, if I try to apply the unlock/flash commands I get an error: Adapter not found/cannot locate adapter or something of that sort. I typed -i to see the list of connected adapters and it is saying no adapters connected. My card works fine in windows and GPUz recognizes its BIOS witht he correct values (6960 values) and I can play games and benchmark fine. So why is this happening? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not entirely a noob although flashing graphics cards is new to me (only flashed mobos before)

I did some research and found out that this error message happens mainly to people after a bad flash which is what's confusing me, as I'm on my stock BIOS and the card is relatively new. I'm using atiflash 3.6 but I believe that version supports caymen GPUs already.

ERROR 0FL01 is the error code...

it's completely bizarre, atiflash does not EVEN show my adapter upon using the -it command. it doesnt see anything...

Not sure what command your typing in. To see the info you should type it in like this

atiflash -i 0 <(zero) only the red part
