anybody has informations when the X850 XT Platinum Edition will be available on the market?
I'm on backorder since almost two months and I'm starting to become nervous...

Thats also been available for some time now also. The PCI-E X850XT PE. Expecially in the UK.

Somebody else would probably be better at directing you to a website for the US.

From the UK, and if i remember they first came into stock about 2-3 months ago, as thats when i bought mine.

And the one on special offer is an ATi produced one and is priced in US dollars as $526.22 and with P&P it comes in at around $550 if i remember correctly so its right on the MRRP that ATi suggests.

This is no news, both ATI and Nvidia has been doing this since the x800 series and 6800 series early in 2004.

But the card has been avalable for quite some time now, ATI simply doesn't sell high end produducts directly to end users anymore as they don't want to undercut their retailers buisness.

i saw the X850XT PE available as an upgrade option for $400 at Dell.

OK guys, thanks all for your info.
I got an email from a webstore, he says that ATI is short of chips and they are not delivering. Another one told me he's going to take off his list all the 800 and 850 cards coz ATI is not able even to say an estimated date for delivery.
I'm looking on ebay. I missed one for $660.00 but I'm trying to get another one.

They have the Shop brand which is really ATis brand and Connect3D brand

Supprisingly they are starting to get some HIS stuff in too!!!!

If you look at the nVidia stuff they says they are getting some stock of the 512Mb XFX Ultras in on the 4th of May...
