I've been waiting for this card for a while, and it was supposed to be released by now, but it's not. I've called many stores and their providers said that, it was back ordered.
Anyone know when it will REALLY come out?

Wasn't the whole point of this card that its MSRP is $299 and that we might get it for a little less than that? Why anyone would pay $376 for it is beyond me. I guess the waiting continues.

umm megaworks they have it in cipc-info.com's price list but not in stock (backordered)

Kinda sad that when looking thru that Froogle list I think only 1 store had it on stock, and I couldn't even tell for sure.

It does look like the end of Feb should be a good time if all the places actually get their shipments.

I've seen a few on Newegg and ZZF, but they seem to go in and out of stock pretty quickly.

Hopefully only a couple more weeks of patience.

it isnt the patience, its the fact that to get one, you have to pay $100 over MSRP

Why ATI would price it that low is beyond me, considering that it competes closer to the $399 6800GT, which generally sees a price increase when it goes to PCIe. $376 would be a fair price if they never announced their targeted MSRP- although since they did announce it, it does not look so fair after all, but for people who do not want to wait, it isn't so bad when considering price/performance.

have you ever considered that we aren't supposed to be getting them just yet, and this is why the prices are inflated? High demand, low supply. Even if these few places that have few XLs sold them @ $300 MSRP, you'd be just as upset because you wouldn't be able to buy one because the very low supply would be sold out in a blink, probably before you could place an order unless you were very lucky.

You're actually right that it is still good value at $376, but I thought that they just wanted to drastcally improve the price/performance ratio with this intermediate release before the next gen cards come out in 6 months or so (hopefully). Maybe just waiting 2-3 weeks might have these cards selling at $275 (then again in today's graphics market all bets are off).
