i just thought it was worth mentioning.
If you froogle for the "X800XL" you see some of them listed already for as low as
$289, although the ETA (at many sites) is 12/20. (the MSRP for these cards is $350)
I think this is good news since the card is not that bad and under $300.
Now i just wish to see some X800XT pci-e dropping in price....
Edit: i just see the X850XT listed for $450 !! (That's $100 below retail)
Whow...i wanna see this card under $400 ! Possible ???
Edit: $450 for the PE ! Wait 'til we have the non PE available...and i THINK ~~$400 might be reasonable ! Let competition do its work - if its good for something ONCE....sick of the recent-hikes ....

The cheapest (for the unavailable) X800XT is still around $479 ..and getting the X850XT *PLATINUM* (!) cheaper than that....this is definetly VERY tempting.
Predicting some nice, positive surprises over the next 2 - 4 weeks
