Where do you see anything about SLI? I read the whole thing and not a word about it.

theyve got to come out with an ati sli chipset first 😛

Actually in regards to SLI, VIA's new pci-e chipset is supposed to support any two vga cards running pci-e x4. We just dont know how the performance compares to SLI yet. Just something to think about. Its weird too because these's boards have been availible for a few days, I think ASUS has one in the $160 range.

Don't expect your cards till Summer... Get in line behind the rest of us who ordered back in beginning of January!!!

Jason

It was supposed to be attractive because it offers basically the same performance as the 6800GT, but at a $299 MSRP price point. Too bad they weren't really planning on letting you get one for $299 (within any reasonable amount of time anyway).

(Disclaimer: Nvidia's pricing/availability on their PCI-E stuff isn't a whole lot better)

Thee will never be any ATI that will run in SLI becuase SLI is an nVidia thing. ATI will have video cards that run as a pair, but it will be called something entirely different.

Mine shipped too, eight days after I ordered it. FedEx says I'll be enjoy stupid-fast framerates tomorrow afternoon. Not too shabby for $269 ($284 delivered).
