ATI X800 XL $229 PCI-E No rebates or taxes

I guess I'll be returning one f the x800 xl's I bought from Best Buy. The XT definitely seems to be worth the extra money.

That deal's been around for a while. Ever since I didn't bite on the x850 xt pe deal I figure I am not gonna touch the connect3d's on tigerdirect with the shady Rs at the end of the SKU.
 
The deals are on at ZipZoomFly now... AGP X800 XL's for $229. A lot out of stock at moment though. XT for $249 out of stock.
 
I have ordered the X800XT from TigerDirect, and if it's using the 1.6ns memory, then I should be able to oc it to X800XT PE range..

that would be awasome 🙂

My X800 PRO from ATI has the 20ns RAM and OC's to 557 memory (1.14m DDR )
Rock stable with ATi tool..

So, you can probably expect a good OC with this XT...
 
Considering Tiger Direct is in Florida, as I am, I would have to pay tax to them. I paid no tax to globalcomputer.com for the card.

They do. They are also Dartek. If you use the Naperville, IL store, you can get things from any of the stores since they share the same warehouse. I'm going to pickup the X800XT tomorrow and return a X800 XL from Best Buy. I'll post some details about the card for anyone who is interested.

That is the same company. I used to go to the warehouse in Naperville IL. I know alot of people bash them but if you live near by the warehouse they have a great clearance section and alot of stuff can be had dirt cheap. And you there so no rebates or delivery you walk out with the crap and know what you bought.

They are also in IL in two locations. Naperville as satated above and another place in Orland I believe off I80 at the mall a few miles in. The one in orland actually scares the piss out of me because im afraid of heights and when you go to the store you have to go across a skinny walkway high above the mall. Went there one time and I cant be the only one afraid of heights so I wonder how many customers they lost because of that walkway 😛
 
Im curios to know if anyone has had there card shiped or not. Does anyone who has done business with tigerdirect know how long they usually take to ship or at least tell you if they took to many orders and are out of stock.
 
I got mine. Little disapointed because it came in a white box but on the plus side it came quickly, all the acc's were there, and it works and shows up as a XT so I am overall happy with my first online tigerdirect purchase and wont have to upgrade for quite some time now 😀
