Yeah, ATI used to be king of the OEM's. I owned ATI cards long before I ever even owned a 3DFX card. Now Intel Extreme seems to dominate, and NVIDIA has a small share too.

Working for a OEM, we are for the first time ever looking to move more to the ATI side (with the new cards) although... Not sure as to exactly why yet.

Yes indeed, almost all we shipped was ATI. One of the first true 3D cards on the market. They made 8mb of ram a standard in a day where 1 & 2mb cards where everywhere...
 
Best Buy has the x800 pro on its site now, and the x800 XT for pre-order! They are for 399.99 and 499.99.
