Hope the link works-11692 seems like a pretty decent score! Doesn't say if the card was overclocked or not though and source is undisclosed-and thoughts?

Link doesn't seem to work but hit "overclockers" on left side of screen and it will go to their home page that also has a news item on pricing and availability!

Another interesting thing is its a reader of theirs thats posting this- must be a card or two floating around? Maybe he/she is French!!

Radeon X1800XT - 9048

so about 29% boost over X1800XT. Very good for a refresh product. Problem is 3dmark05 does not necessarily show real world performance. We have seen games where 7800GTX 256 is outperformed by X1800XT and vice versa while 3dmark05 would suggest x1800 should win almost all the time. Although I would have expected higher real world performance than 29% boost from 16x3 architecture from 16x1 and also inquirer's claims that it is 25% faster than 512mb GTX. 29% faster than X1800XT puts it barely faster than 512mb GTX card.

EVA = 512MB HIS X1800XT with Acetal Maze4 waterblock
@816/981 🙂 awesome!

x1900xtx wont have 1960mhz memory or 816mhz gpu speeds. I am sure if you overclocked it to those settings, it'll break 15k.

well just wait :! sample of these card are already out and they are under mass production. so just wait for the reviews.

Probably will score a lot better on the next version of 3dmark relative to last generation since the main improvement on the X1900's main improvement is in shader power.

We need a new 3dmark. When you reach score of ~11000 or higher it looks like cpu is starting to be the limiting factor.

Yeah, this is true. I learned this thanks to Eva and a couple others. Bring on 3dmark06!

yeah 3dmark06 should have been out by now.. for god sake its 06 :! what are they thinking
But the last 3 versions of 3dmark were 2005, 2003, & 2001. Won't it be until 2007 before we get another 3dmark?

Something tells me we wont see 3dm06...

There is a profile for it in the new Nvidia drivers, unless its for that new moble 06 benchmark thing.

Was just about to say that.

cpu bottlenecked in 05? definitely...but by alot? no not really for me anyways...

with my overclocked x1800xt, i get 10700ish (air w/o volt increase) with my x2 at 2.8ghz....at 3ghz, the score is not much different than it was at 2.8

i see more of a difference from overclocked the gpu even 10mhz

thats jes from my experiences tho

that looks like the 9 has been smuged out in the screen shot and it looks more like an x1800xt that overclocked to me. You cant see the stock speeds in any screen shots or the real name of it becuase it has been painted over
